MTV's independent artist music awards show aired December 4th at 10pm Eastern time on MTV, MTV2, MTVU, and MTV.com.  Alternative Motive was asked to be promotional sponsors, with shirts going to all celebrity guests, award presenters, and performing artists! Seventeen Magazine even gave away one in a sweepstakes seen here.

This year the show will include guests such as Asher Roth, Death Cab for Cutie, Green Day, Cam'ron, Kings of Leon, Mary-Louis Parker, Matt and Kim, Silver Sun Pickups and more! Kick ass huh?!  We even made a 1 of 1 black , white, and red East Side - Independent shirt design for Jack White!
Owner of Alternative Motive Apparel, Logan Wallace and his Brooklyn wing man, Curtis Scribner, went to the taping of the Woodie Awards at the Roseland Ballroom.  Here's his take:

"What a great time! The layout of the show made for a very intimate and fun gathering. We were standing right behind the the sound board.  In front of the sound board were your celebrities and artists (literally 15-20 ft away from us), then in front of them were about 20 ft of rowdy fans, then the stages.
My initial thoughts the next day were that the show wasn't that long. Then, I went to the Woodie Awards website and read about everyone that performed and spoke, etc.  I must have been pretty heavily intoxicated. I do remember most of the acts, but I definitely wasn't paying complete attention because I missed a couple very cool acts (Cam'ron)!
My favorite's of the night were the performances by Matt & Kim, Passion Pit, Death Cab for Cutie, and Jack White with Dead Weather (who ROCKED!)  Overall, it was an absolute blast!
I was able to make a few tourist stops at Brooklyn's Promenade, The Guggenheim, The MOMA, Rockefeller Plaza
